buy macbook pro now or wait for the later version to come?
Hi! I’m planning to get myself a new notebook for my studies and I hope to get a Macbook Pro since I have never had one before. I did some research and found out that rumours have been circulating since the late end of last year till now that Apple is going to release their latest Macbook Pro series this year.
However, there’s still no news about it yet so I’m wondering should I just get the latest version or wait for the incoming ones? Could you explain why should I? Thanks!
Based on previous trends, Apple will mostly likely announce updates to their computers during their World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC). This will be held on the 9th or 10th of June (I forget which), and is only 2 months away. Personally, I would advise you to wait till then, as I bought my Macbook about a year ago, just 2 months before they released the 13 inch MacBook Pro, and I have really regretted not being patient. But thats just my opinion, I would advise you to research it some more, and download Apple’s WWDC keynotes (available in iTunes’ podcast section) to see just how substantial the upgrades are to their macbook lines, and why it may be worthwhile waiting until they add something even more amazing to them
