MacBook Air vs MacBook?
As a christmas gift I am investing in a MacBook. I want to use it for schoolwork, but also programs such as FL studio(formerly fruity loops). Would a classic MacBook be best, or could I get the same bang for my buck with a lighter MacBook air?
Also, does GarageBand and photobooth come preinstalled on both models? Thanks.
All software including Garage Band, PhotoBooth, everything else in iLife, is pre-installed. with the MacBook you’ll get a set of backup DVDs with the software if you need them. With the Air you get a backup flashdrive with the software. It all depends on whether or not you need the lightness of the Air over the extra inputs/outputs of the MacBook and its optical drive. You can’t play DVDs or CDs in the Air.
