Macbook Pro Or Macbook Air
Macbook, Macbook pro, or Macbook air?!?!?
So i currently have a Sony VAIO laptop, ive had it for a year and im ready for a new one.
I am definetly going to buy a laptop from the Apple store, I just want some advice on what to look for, and which one you think is the best out of the three, etc.
I don’t mind too much on the price, I like to pay for the quality. So should I get the macbook, macbook pro, or macbook air, and why?
Thanks for all the answers(:
Don’t get the Air, it has less battery life and has a slower processor and older integrated graphics. The 13″ Pro is almost a portable anyways. If you are looking for value (and portability) get the plastic Macbook or the base 13″ Pro. The 13″ models also have slightly better battery life compared to the larger Macbooks.
I would not get the 2.66 GHz 13″ Pro cause all you get is 0.26 more GHz and 70Gb extra hard drive for $300 (compared with the 2.4GHz pro).
If you have a lot of money to spend, don’t need to the portability, and want a bigger screen, get the base 15 inch Pro. A Core i5 processor and dedicated graphics should be pretty fast. Only if you are doing really demanding tasks do you need an i7 processor and increased dedicated graphics memory.
If I were buying one I’d buy the base 13″ Pro or base 15″ Pro depending on the portability I needed and my price range. (but for now I’ll use my Pentium M Acer, 5 years old and counting!) – do you really need a new laptop if its only 1 year old?
