Can any laptop hard drive work for a MacBook?
MacBook hard drive crashed and I need to replace it with a new one to install the OS.
Would any laptop hard drive work?
The current HD was running at 5400RPM and I was thinking of replacing it with this one:

Would it work? Or do I need a “special” hard drive for macbooks?
Note the difference between a PATA and SATA hard drive. I am not sure which one the MacBook has but make sure it is the correct type.
