do you have to pay a monthly contract for ipad 2 if your internet is wifi no 3g?
i want a none 3g ipad does that mesan i wont have to pay for the internet because ill be connecting to internet wireless routers that are already paid for?

Yes, that is exactly the case. You simply buy the wi-fi only version and connect wirelessly to your home internet or wireless hotspots, such as coffee bars, etc. This means that you don’t need a contract, nor do you need to buy any data. Obviously, there are restrictions on where you can use it, inasmuch as you have to be in range of a wi-fi signal that you have the access code for, or a free wi-fi hotspot.
Another option, depending on your setup is that if you have a mobile phone that has a built in wireless hotspot, such as an Iphone 4 or certain types of Android phone, you can use the phone’s wireless hotspot to tether your Ipad. Unless you have unlimited data on your phone, this could be costly, but it is another option for you.
